I regret to inform you that Advanced Center for Infertility and Reproductive Medicine, RPC (ACIRM) and its affiliated laboratory (CPRL) and ambulatory surgical facility (Center for Reproductive Surgery, LLC) are all permanently closed due to my health concerns.

If you are a former patient of ACIRM and have embryos or sperm stored for future use at a cryo-storage facility, all of the laboratory information required by any fertility center is with the sperm and embryos at that cryo-storage facility.

If you are a former patient of ACIRM, with the understanding that your fertility issue may not yet be resolved or that you may want to attempt to have another child, your patient care and medical records have been transitioned to Shady Grove Fertility Centers. If you elect to seek your care elsewhere, your ACIRM records may be retrieved from Shady Grove Fertility Centers for that purpose.

As you may already know, Shady Grove Fertility is nationally recognized as one of leading fertility centers in the United States in terms of clinical expertise, patient satisfaction and overall number of babies born. They are also pioneers in developing innovative options to help make treatment more accessible and affordable.

Shady Grove currently operates three IVF Centers in the DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia metropolitan areas with 17 additional offices throughout those regions, including a satellite location in Harrisburg. It is my understanding that Shady Grove Fertility will be expanding their local services to include a full time monitoring site sometime in early 2013, where you will be able to have the majority of your care locally as you did with me. You will only need to travel to one of their three IVF centers for egg retrievals and embryo transfers.

I have carefully evaluated all of the options available for the continuing care of my patients in the region, and I expect that you will continue to receive excellent care through the physicians and staff at Shady Grove Fertility Centers. I encourage you to call them directly at 888-761-1967.
